We are seeking to recruit a full-time Chemistry Teacher to join our growing team at The International School of Paphos.

Requirements

  • Inspire and challenge pupils to unlock their full potential
  • Promote the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment
  • Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in class conducive to teaching and learning
  • Effectively plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the relevant schemes of work
  • Engage in oral and written dialogues with parents/guardians/carers to provide feedback about their child’s progress
  • Tactfully deal with behavioural issues in accordance with the school’s policies
  • Adhere to all school rules, procedures and practices, such as health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, safeguarding, and pupils’ well-being
  • Promote the school in a positive light to the wider community
  • Keep up-to-date with current educational policies and practices
  • Undertake additional tasks, as assigned by the management of the school

Minimum qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Chemistry or a similar field, which is recognised by The Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.)
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
